I started implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV in 2002, back then it was called Navision Attain. Throughout the years there has been many exciting implementations in different parts of the world, all of them with different challenges but with one common theme; manufacturing. Microsoft Dynamics NAV & 365 Business Central is actually an excellent manufacturing solution and the ease of which customizations can be done and the variety of available add-ons makes it a software that can cover most manufacturing requirements.
I bring over 20 years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV & 365 Business Central within manufacturing and distribution companies. Through this blog I share some tips and tweaks, some are accomplished with standard functionality and some with small tweaks to the code.
I consider myself a hybrid between a consultant and developer. My ‘claim to fame’ is that I invented and developed the Document Configurator, an add-on to easy manage the layouts of document/forms printed from Microsoft Dynamics NAV & 365 Business Central without the hassle of Visual Studio. This add-on was voted one of Top 50 Add-Ons for Microsoft Dynamics 2013 by Dynamics World.
